Tasting Note
Powerful Barolo: rose and orange peel, cherry and raspberry, candied herbs, baking spice, leather, tobacco and saline minerality. Firm, refined tannins, bright acidity and a long, persistent finish.

Production Method
Hand-harvested Nebbiolo; fermentation in stainless steel with ~30 days maceration; temperature peaks ~32°C; multiple rackings and aging 28–30 months in large Slavonian oak casks (botti) before bottling.

Poderi Aldo Conterno, family estate in Monforte d'Alba founded by Aldo Conterno; Cicala is a Bussia cru with Lampia and Michet clones, ~40–50-year-old vines on clay-calcareous soils, south–southwest exposure; production about 800 cases per vintage.
