Tasting Note

Concentrated dark cherry, plum and blackcurrant with Mediterranean herbs, tobacco, leather, cinnamon and vanilla. Full-bodied, ripe tannins, balanced acidity and a long, spicy finish.


Food Pairing

Roast or braised red meats, game (venison, wild boar), aged Pecorino or Parmigiano; grilled lamb, beef short ribs; Asian: Korean BBQ, char siu, Peking duck, miso-glazed dishes.


Production Method

Hand-harvested indigenous varieties; temperature-controlled fermentation with extended maceration; aged 18–24 months in French oak barriques, then bottle-aged 12–14 months.

Argiolas family winery (Serdiana) founded early 20th century; Turriga created in late 1980s with Giacomo Tachis' collaboration; flagship Sardinian cuvée from estate vineyards.
