Tasting Note

Perfumed Pinot Noir: vivid red and black cherry, violets, peony, leather, camphor and spice. Silky yet concentrated with fine tannins, fresh acidity and a long, mineral-tinged finish.


Food Pairing

Roast beef, roast duck, aged Comté, mushroom risotto; Asian: Peking duck, char siu pork, mushroom‑based ramen or soy‑glazed salmon.


Production Method

Hand-harvested; partial whole-bunch (≈50%) fermentation on indigenous yeasts; moderate pigeage/remontage; aged ~17–18 months in oak (≈50% new). Unfined, unfiltered.


Vineyard Info

Arnaud Mortet, based in Gevrey‑Chambertin, launched his own domaine after acquiring family plots; he works Burgundian grand‑cru and premier‑cru holdings (vines typically 45–55 years) and vinifies at Domaine Denis Mortet facilities.
