Common critic scores: Robert Parker (RP) 98+; James Suckling 98; Wine Spectator ~97; Wine Advocate/Lisa Perrotti-Brown 96; Jancis Robinson 18. 5/20

Tasting Note

Brooding yet perfumed: black cherry, cassis and blueberry with violet, crushed stone, mint and graphite. Firm, filigree tannins, bright acidity and a long mineral finish—elegant, concentrated and built for long aging.

Food Pairing

Roast lamb, aged beef, mushroom risotto, duck confit; Asian: Peking duck, char siu, Korean BBQ short ribs, soy-braised beef; mature hard cheeses.

Production Method

Hand-harvested, fermented with precision and matured ~20 months in new French oak; low yields from old vines produce concentrated fruit.

Vineyard Info
