Tasting Note
Perfumed red cherry, blood orange and wild strawberry with rose petal, forest floor, subtle anise and menthol. Silky texture, fine powdery tannins, bright acidity and a long savory finish.

Production Method
Destemmed fruit, wild-yeast fermentation, ~2 weeks on skins; matured ~14 months in French oak (≈25% new); bottled unfined/unfiltered.

Bass Phillip, established 1979 in Leongatha, South Gippsland. Low-cropped, iron-rich soils; organic since 1993 and biodynamic since 2002. Jean‑Marie Fourrier became involved in 2020.
