Tasting Note
Concentrated blackcurrant and blackberry with violet, dark chocolate, licorice and sweet oak. Full-bodied, plush fruit with muscular, grainy tannins and a long, perfumed finish.

Food Pairing
Western: grilled ribeye, filet mignon with mushrooms, braised short ribs. Asian: Korean BBQ (bulgogi/grilled beef), Cantonese roast pork (char siu), Sichuan-style beef, Peking duck with hoisin.

Production Method
Hand-harvested, sorted fruit from Rutherford bench; fermented in temperature-controlled vats; aged ~22 months in French oak (≈90% new). Bottled after extended élevage.
