Tasting Note

Perfumed and mineral-driven: wild berry and blackberry fruit with violets, rose petal, blood orange, cedar and crushed stone. Silky, weightless texture with powdery tannins and a long, saline finish.


Food Pairing

Roast lamb, aged beef, duck confit, mushroom risotto; Asian: Peking duck, char siu, Korean BBQ beef, braised pork belly, umami-rich stir-fries and soy-glazed dishes.


Production Method

Hand-harvested, destemmed, cold maceration and gentle infusion-style extraction; fermented in temperature-controlled vats, then aged ~16 months in 55% new French oak plus amphorae and large foudres.


Vineyard Info

Family-owned 17-hectare estate on the Saint-Émilion limestone plateau; managed by Juliette Bécot and Julien Barthe. Premier Grand Cru Classé B with clay-limestone soils and average vine age ~34 years.
