Tasting Note
Concentrated blackberry and blueberry with black licorice, graphite, cedar and dark chocolate; a floral lift and fine-grained, ripe tannins lead to a long, spicy finish.

Food Pairing
Western: grilled ribeye, braised short ribs, roasted lamb, aged cheddar. Asian: Korean BBQ (galbi), Chinese-style braised beef, Cantonese char siu, Sichuan pepper–crusted steak.

Production Method
Hand-harvested, small‑lot fermentation and extended maceration; aged ~18–20 months in mostly French oak (significant new oak); minimal fining and blended before bottling.

Beringer (founded 1876). St. Helena Home Vineyard is part of the original estate; a limited-production single‑vineyard Cabernet often used in Beringer’s Private Reserve blends.
