Tasting Note

Concentrated dark blackberry and cassis with espresso, violet, cedar and graphite notes; rich, mouth‑coating tannins, bright acidity and a long, elegant finish.


Food Pairing

Western: grilled ribeye, roast lamb, venison, mushroom risotto, aged cheddar. Asian: Korean bulgogi, Chinese char siu, Sichuan beef, hoisin-glazed duck. (Pairs with rich, savory and umami dishes.)


Production Method

Fruit from single vineyards vinified in separate lots, aged roughly 24 months in oak (French), then blended and bottled. Main sites: Home, Lampyridae, Vogt, Chabot, Rancho del Oso.
