Tasting Note

Brooding blackberry, cassis and baked blueberry with anise, bay leaf and forest‑floor minerality. Full-bodied, spicy and layered with ripe, structured tannins and a long, savory finish.


Food Pairing

Western: grilled ribeye, roast lamb, braised short ribs, mushroom risotto. Asian: Korean BBQ (bulgogi), Cantonese roast duck/char siu, Sichuan beef, Japanese wagyu.


Production Method

Single‑vineyard Cabernet; native‑yeast fermentations in open‑top vessels, aged ~24–28 months in French oak (majority used oak), followed by bottle aging before release.

Founded by Bill Harlan in the late 1990s, BOND produces single‑vineyard ‘grand cru’ Cabernets. Vecina is an 11‑acre terraced volcanic‑soil site on the Oakville/Yountville border.
