Tasting Note

Blackcurrant, cedar and graphite with dark plum, tobacco and chocolate notes. Medium‑full body, fresh acidity and silky yet firm tannins, finishing with cedary spice and mineral length.


Food Pairing

Western: roast lamb, ribeye steak, beef stew, duck confit. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, red‑braised pork belly, beef bulgogi, mushroom hotpot.


Production Method

Hand‑harvested, plot‑by‑plot fermentation in stainless steel and oak vats; malolactic conversion; aged 16–20 months with ~80% maturation in French oak (small portion new), blended and bottled.


Vineyard Info

Second wine of Château Lafite Rothschild sourced from the Carruades plateau. Produced by Domaines Barons de Rothschild, the estate is a historic Pauillac First Growth with a long tradition of premium winemaking.
