Tasting Note

Deep violet hue; concentrated black cherry, blackberry and cassis with mocha, clove, violet and tobacco notes. Mineral and dark chocolate undertones, ripe tannins and a long, palate-staining finish.


Food Pairing

Grilled ribeye, roasted lamb, mushroom risotto, aged cheddar; Asian: Korean BBQ (bulgogi), Sichuan pepper beef, char siu pork, Cantonese braised beef.


Production Method

Hand-harvested Malbec from selected blocks; 20% whole-cluster, indigenous yeast fermentations in small French oak barriques; 24 months in 100% new French oak; unfined and unfiltered.
