Tasting Note

Aromas of roses, sweet tobacco, cherry, licorice and spice; silky yet firm tannins lead to a long, savory finish with truffle and dried herb notes. Elegant, refined Barolo with impressive finesse.

Food Pairing

Western: braised beef (brasato al Barolo), roast lamb, grilled steak, aged cheeses, porcini risotto. Asian: Peking duck, Korean BBQ (galbi), Cantonese roast pork (char siu), beef rendang, shiitake/soy braised dishes.

Production Method

Hand-harvested Nebbiolo; fermentation in stainless steel with native yeasts and extended maceration (~20–30 days); malolactic in oak; aged ~36 months in large oak casks (plus some barriques) and further bottle aging.
