Tasting Note

Perfumed Nebbiolo: red cherry, raspberry, roses, tar and stony mineral notes. Full-bodied with firm, spicy, finely grained tannins, brisk acidity and a long, savory finish.


Food Pairing

Western: roast beef, braised short rib, venison, truffle dishes, aged Parmigiano-Reggiano; Asian: Peking duck, Korean bulgogi, Chinese braised beef, spicy Sichuan beef, grilled wagyu.


Production Method

Organic farming; hand-harvested Nebbiolo; temperature-controlled fermentation with extended maceration; aged ~24–30 months in large Slavonian oak casks and bottle-aged before release.

Ceretto is a multigenerational Alba producer bottling single-cru Barolos. Bussia comes from a small parcel (Bussia Soprana) in Monforte d'Alba; production is limited and focused on site expression.
