Tasting Note
Concentrated black cherry, plum, kirsch, violets, tobacco and mineral drive; ripe dark fruit, spice and refined powdery tannins with a long, perfumed finish.

Food Pairing
Roasted lamb, beef tenderloin, duck (Peking duck), mushroom risotto, aged Comté or Gruyère; Asian pairings: char siu, beef with black bean sauce, Korean bulgogi, shiitake and soy-glazed dishes.

Production Method
From centenary vines; hand-harvested, traditional fermentation with partial whole clusters, aged in French oak barrels for extended élevage (estimate 12–18 months).

Owned by the Labet family since 1870; Château de la Tour is the only domaine inside the Clos de Vougeot. 'Hommage à Jean Morin' created for the centenary of vines planted c.1910.
