Tasting Note
Very dense, concentrated black cherry and dark plum with licorice, cocoa, soy and mineral notes; menthol/oak spice. Velvety texture, refined yet firm tannins and an immense, long finish.

Food Pairing
Roast lamb, venison, duck confit, beef stews, mushroom risotto; Asian: Peking duck, soy‑glazed pork/char siu, braised duck with shiitake, miso‑glazed aubergine.

Production Method
Hand-harvested Pinot Noir; fermentations in barrel with some whole clusters; aged ~15–18 months in French oak (high proportion new) before bottling.

Château de la Tour (Labet family) is a long-established owner within Clos de Vougeot. Hommage à Jean Morin is a top cuvée from oldest vines (Vieilles Vignes), produced only in select vintages.
