Tasting Note
Concentrated black cherry, blackberry and plum with violet, truffle, tobacco and minty undertones; dusty, firm tannins, dark spice and bittersweet chocolate on a long, persistent finish.

Food Pairing
Western: roast beef, lamb, duck confit, wild mushroom risotto, aged Comté or Époisses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu (Cantonese BBQ), Korean bulgogi, beef hot pot or braised beef, miso mushroom hot pot.

Production Method
Hand-harvested Pinot Noir, destemmed and fermented in open-top vats with gentle extraction; matured 12–18 months in French oak (≈50% new) following traditional Burgundian élevage.

Château de la Tour (Labet family) is the largest single owner inside the Clos de Vougeot; long family ownership and notable Vieilles Vignes cuvées from old vines within the walled clos.
