Tasting Note
Fragrant linden, chamomile and jasmine with white peach and apricot; lemon peel, saffron and cedar notes. Silky, mineral-driven palate with melon and nutty hints and a lingering phenolic grip on a long, precise finish.
Food Pairing
Western: foie gras, roasted turbot or lobster, chicken in cream sauce, aged Comté. Asian: lightly spiced Thai or Vietnamese coconut curry, Chinese roast duck, miso‑glazed cod, richer sushi or sashimi.
Production Method
Hand‑harvested Viognier from steep granite terraces; fermented and barrel‑aged roughly 18–24 months in oak (including some new oak); minimal filtration and traditional cellaring before release.
Vineyard Info
Monopole AOC of ~3.8–4 ha on south‑east granite terraces above the Rhône. Owned by François Pinault/Artémis since 2011; historic estate long regarded among the Northern Rhône's finest single‑producer appellations.
