Tasting Note
Dark inky purple. Ripe red and black fruit (plum, cherry, fig, blueberry) with vanilla, clover and black pepper. Concentrated, velvety polished tannins and a rich, long finish.
Food Pairing
Roast lamb, game, entrecôte, grilled beef, rich dark-chocolate desserts. Asian pairings: Korean BBQ, char siu, hoisin or soy-glazed duck, spicy Szechuan beef, miso-marinated beef.
Production Method
Hand-harvested and 100% hand de-stemmed. Native-yeast fermentation, 4–5 weeks maceration. Aged 24 months in 225L new French oak. Unfined, unfiltered.

Flagship wine from Casa Lapostolle’s Clos Apalta estate in Apalta. Founded by the Lapostolle family; vineyards are organic and biodynamic certified, with some pre-phylloxera old vines.
