Tasting Note
Red and black cherry, cassis, cedar, pencil-lead and sweet tobacco; medium-full body with layered, silky yet firm tannins, medium acidity and a long, polished mineral finish typical of Saint-Julien.

Roast lamb, beef ribeye, confit/roast duck, aged cheeses (Comté, cheddar); Asian: Peking duck, char siu, Korean BBQ/beef bulgogi, rich mushroom hot pot.
Production Method
Hand-harvested, fermented in temperature-controlled vats, matured ~12–16 months in French oak barrels (approx. 30% new), followed by bottle ageing.

Clos du Marquis is the historic second wine of Château Léoville-Las-Cases (Domaines Delon), created c.1902. Vineyard on the Saint-Julien plateau (~45 ha) adjacent to top classified growths.
