Tasting Note
Dark cassis, blackberry and plum with violet, cedar, cigar box and subtle menthol. Medium–full body, vibrant freshness, fine-grained yet firm tannins and a long, mineral-tinged finish.

Food Pairing
Western: roast beef, lamb, beef fillet with mushrooms, game, mushroom risotto. Asian: Peking duck, Korean BBQ (bulgogi/galbi), braised beef with soy, Cantonese roasted meats, Sichuan pepper beef.

Production Method
Fermented in a mix of wooden vats, stainless steel and cement with 15–25 day maceration; aged in French oak (≈25% new). Harvest Sept–Oct 2017.

Produced by Clos du Marquis (Domaines/Château Léoville Las Cases/Jean-Hubert Delon). Established early 20th century; vineyard ~4.5 ha in Saint-Julien; separate from Léoville Las Cases since 2007.
