Tasting Note
Perfumed red/black fruits (plum, black cherry, raspberry) with floral lift, tobacco, spice and subtle cigar/chocolate notes. Silky texture, bright acidity, fine minerality and a long, precise finish.

Hand‑harvested fruit; native‑yeast fermentation (concrete), 21–28 day maceration; malolactic in barrel; aged 18–24 months in mainly used French oak with a small % new; minimal intervention; organic viticulture.

Clos Rougeard (est. 1664), long‑run by the Foucault family, sold to the Bouygues family in 2017; famed for old Cabernet Franc parcels (Les Poyeux plot) and low‑intervention, traditional winemaking. Winemaking team now includes Cyril Chirouze.
