Tasting Note
Powerful black-fruit core (blackberry, black raspberry, cassis) with violet, cracked pepper, smoked meat, licorice and mocha. Dense, mineral backbone, plush texture, very muscular but ripe tannins and a long saline finish.

Food Pairing
Western: roast leg of lamb, grilled ribeye, braised short ribs, venison stew, mushroom risotto. Asian: Korean BBQ (bulgogi), Chinese red-braised beef, Peking duck, char siu, moderately spiced Sichuan beef with black bean sauce.

Production Method
Single-vineyard La Landonne (100% Syrah) from old vines. Fermented with significant stem inclusion and matured in oak (around 18 months) with limited new oak; produced only in top years in small quantities.

Delas Frères (Northern Rhône house, est. 19th century) sources prime Côte-Rôtie parcels and bottles La Landonne as a single-vineyard, limited-production cuvée (approx. 2,500 bottles in top years).
