Tasting Note
Perfumed dark fruits (black cherry, blueberry), violets, licorice, smoked meat and pepper with a stony mineral core and long, incense-tinged finish. Youthful concentration with fine, polished tannins and impressive length.

Production Method
Hand-harvested, full or partial destemming, fermentation in stainless steel with controlled temps, élevage in oak (2–3 year barrels, ~40% new). Released after barrel ageing.

Small family domaine founded by Yves (with Mathilde) in 1987; vineyards on steep granite/schist terraces (Combard, Mollard, Rozier) near Condrieu; now run by the next generation. La Barbarine is sourced from younger vines.
