Tasting Note
Concentrated blackberry and cassis with black olive, tobacco, dried rose, graphite and dark chocolate. Polished, fine-grained tannins, vibrant acidity and velvety texture leading to a long mineral-tinged finish.

Food Pairing
Grilled ribeye, roast lamb, beef short ribs, aged cheddar; Asian: Korean BBQ (bulgogi), char siu, Peking duck, Sichuan-style lamb skewers, beef teriyaki.

Production Method
Hand-harvested parcels vinified in ~150 micro‑vinifications; stainless-steel fermentation, malolactic in barrel; aged 15 months in French oak (71% new, 29% second-use).

Flagship wine from the Puente Alto estate originally created by Concha y Toro; now released by independent Viña Don Melchor. Long-running project led by Enrique Tirado focusing on parcel selection and terroir expression.
