Tasting Note

Concentrated black and red fruits, violets, graphite, tobacco and spice with truffle-like earthiness, fine-grained tannins, lively acidity and a very long mineral finish.

Roast duck, lamb, beef Wellington, mushroom risotto; Asian: Peking duck, char siu, bulgogi, sukiyaki; aged cheeses and truffle dishes.


Production Method

Hand-harvested, stringent sorting, traditional Burgundian vinification with maceration and élevage in new and used French oak; DRC follows organic/biodynamic principles noted in 2010.
