Tasting Note
Concentrated red and black cherry, blackberry and kirsch with floral perfume, licorice and spice, chalky minerality, silky yet firm tannins and a long saline, slightly bitter cherry-pit finish.
Food Pairing
Western: roasted duck, duck breast with morels, lamb, beef, mushroom risotto, foie gras. Asian: Peking duck, char siu or braised pork belly, mushroom stir-fry or soy‑glazed shiitake, Korean bulgogi.

Hand-harvested; partial whole-cluster fermentation (~30%); traditional Burgundian vinification; aged ~18 months in oak (c.80% new barrels)

Drouhin-Laroze parcel 0.67 ha (vines planted 1959–1984); east-facing limestone soils. Domaine founded 1850, family-run into sixth generation.
