Awards/Ratings
Contents (2022): Château Lafite Rothschild, Château Latour (when included in some editions), Château Margaux, Château Mouton Rothschild, Château Haut-Brion, Château La Mission Haut-Brion, Château Cheval Blanc, Château Ausone, Château Petrus and Château d'Yquem; individual wines scored highly in 2022 (many 96–100 by critics such as Jeb Dunnuck, Jane Anson and other reviewers)
Tasting Note
Concentrated dark-fruit core (blackberry, cassis) with graphite, cedar, tobacco and subtle Iode. Powerful yet refined tannins, ripe acidity and long, mineral finish — built for long-term cellaring.
Food Pairing
Western: roast lamb, prime rib, beef short ribs, aged hard cheeses (Comté, Parmesan), duck confit. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, Korean BBQ (galbi), braised beef with soy and star anise, mushroom hot-pot.
Production Method
Traditional Bordeaux vinification: parcel vinification, extended maceration, élevage in new and used French oak, and final blending into a nine-bottle prestige case curated by Duclot.
