Tasting Note

Concentrated Barossa Shiraz with blueberry and blackberry, dark chocolate, cracked pepper, licorice and mocha. Dense, full-bodied, silky tannins and a long, spicy finish.


Food Pairing

Roast or grilled lamb, ribeye/steak, beef short ribs, venison; Korean BBQ (bulgogi), char siu, Peking duck, Sichuan/spicy beef dishes.


Production Method

Single‑block fruit (Helbig 1915). Traditional fermentation with extended maceration; matured approximately 18–24 months in French oak (new and seasoned puncheons).

Elderton Wines, family-owned Barossa producer founded 1979 (Ashmead family). Fifteen is drawn from a tiny single block planted in 1915 (Helbig) in Greenock.
