Tasting Note

Pale gold with emerald highlights. Aromas of frangipane, brioche, honey, pear and citrus (yuzu/kaffir). Palate broad, saline and textural with stone fruit, toasted almond and light caramel, fine persistent mousse and a long mineral-saline finish.


Food Pairing

Oysters, lobster, roasted chicken with butter sauce, Brie de Meaux; sushi and sashimi, tempura prawns, steamed dim sum, delicate Thai seafood salads.


Production Method

Méthode traditionnelle; vintage blend (2004) vinified in vats, long lees ageing (c.8–10+ years), low dosage Extra Brut (≈4–5 g/L); malolactic often not carried out.


Vineyard Info

Gosset, founded 1584 in Aÿ, is the oldest Champagne house. Celebris is its prestige vintage cuvée made from grand- and premier-cru sites (Cramant, Le Mesnil, Aÿ, Bouzy, Verzy) and released after extended cellaring.
