Tasting Note
Deep ruby with cassis, black cherry, cocoa, coffee, tobacco and cigar-box notes. Silky yet firm tannins, concentrated fruit and striking mineral lift; very long, elegant finish.

Production Method
Hand-harvested; traditional fermentation in temperature-controlled vats, matured ~20 months in French oak (75% new), then bottled June 2012.
