Tasting Note
Perfumed red and black cherry, violets, cocoa and subtle woodsmoke; chalky minerality, gamey/earthy nuances. Medium-bodied, grainy tannins, lively acidity and a long, mineral-driven finish.

Western: roast duck, coq au vin, beef bourguignon, mushroom risotto, aged soft cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, miso-glazed salmon, Korean BBQ, mushroom hot pot.
Production Method
100% destemmed Pinot Noir; 15–20 day ambient-yeast ferment in open wooden vats; aged ~18 months in oak (≈15% new), racked twice, finished in stainless then bottled; measured SO2 additions.

Single 71-are parcel (Les Fuées) planted in 1960 on the upper slope bordering Bonnes Mares; low yields. Produced by Domaine J.-F. (Jacques‑Frédéric) Mugnier, a respected Chambolle estate.
