Deep black and red berry fruit with truffle, graphite, mocha and subtle floral notes; silky, dense and full-bodied with polished tannins and a very long, mineral finish.

Roasted rack of lamb, entrecôte or beef short ribs; mushroom risotto, aged cheeses; Peking duck, char siu pork, Korean BBQ short ribs, braised beef with soy and star anise.
Production Method
Hand-harvested, fully destemmed; fermented in concrete/stainless vats; aged c.16–18 months in French oak (c.70–80% new).
Vineyard Info
Small (≈4.4–5.5 ha) family estate run by Denis Durantou since 1983; old Merlot vines on Pomerol plateaus produce low yields and a single grand vin.
