Red and black cherry, plum and violet aromas with cedar, spice and tobacco; medium-full body, silky tannins, fresh acidity and a polished, earthy finish.

Production Method

Second wine from younger vines; vinified with same care as the grand vin, matured ~12–18 months in French oak (portion new).

Second wine of Château Giscours (3rd Growth, 1855) from an ~83 ha Margaux estate; produced by the Albada Jelgersma family with modern viticulture and cellar practices.
