Tasting Note

Concentrated blackcurrant and black cherry with graphite, cedar, licorice and violet. Full-bodied, dense fruit, elegant minerality, polished fine tannins and a long, savory, tobacco-tinged finish.


Food Pairing

Roast lamb, beef tenderloin, venison, aged hard cheeses; Peking duck, Cantonese roast pork (char siu), Korean BBQ beef, mushroom hot pot.


Production Method

Hand-harvested, strict selection for the grand vin (≈45% of crop), fermented in temperature-controlled vats and matured 18–20 months in new French oak barrels.
