Tasting Note
Silky, mineral-driven Pinot Noir with red cherry, wild raspberry, rose petal, baking spice and subtle earth/forest-floor notes. Polished tannins, bright acidity and a long chalky, floral finish.
Food Pairing
Western: roast duck, beef Wellington, mushroom risotto, game birds, truffle pasta. Asian: Peking duck, Cantonese roast pork (char siu), miso-glazed fish, soy‑braised short ribs, mushroom‑based stir-fries.
Production Method
Organic viticulture; hand-harvested; ~30–50% whole-cluster fermentation; matured in French oak (c.50% new) for ~12–18 months. Very small production (only two barrels for the cuvée).

Domaine François Lamarche, a multi‑generation Vosne-Romanée estate; owner and monopole of La Grande Rue since 1933. Now run by Nicole Lamarche; certified organic practices in place.
