Tasting Note
A plush, silky Pomerol with blueberry and black-cherry fruit, violet and truffle notes, menthol/licorice accents and a cool, saline finish. Medium-full bodied, refined tannins and long, polished finish.

Food Pairing
Western: roast lamb, ribeye steak, beef bourguignon, mushroom risotto. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, Korean BBQ short ribs, mushroom/soy-based hot pot and umami-rich braised beef.

Production Method
Hand-harvested Merlot; small-batch fermentation in stainless steel vats; élevage in new French oak (typical 14–18 months); very low yields and tiny lot production.

Tiny 2.7-hectare estate in Pomerol owned by the Thienpont family (Le Pin founded 1979). Cult, low-production wine (c. 400–700 cases) known for rarity and high auction value.
