Tasting Note
Deep purple color; aromas of black cherry, plum, truffle, cedar and graphite. Flavors of baked blackberry, mulberry, spice and hoisin. Full-bodied, concentrated with silky, ripe tannins and a long savory finish.
Food Pairing
Western: roast lamb, beef tenderloin, braised short ribs, wild mushroom risotto. Asian: Peking duck, Cantonese char siu, hoisin-braised beef, miso-glazed eggplant.
Production Method
Hand‑harvested Merlot, small-batch fermentation (selected yeasts used in 2018), extended maceration and aging ~18 months in new oak (predominantly new barrels).

Tiny 2.5–2.7 ha Pomerol estate owned by the Thienpont family since 1979. Cult producer with extremely limited production (~400–700 cases/year).
