Tasting Note
Silky, mineral-driven Merlot with black cherry, plum, violets, truffle and exotic spice. Plush texture, refined tannins, bright acidity and a long saline finish with floral lift and cocoa undertones.
Food Pairing
Western: roast lamb, herb-crusted beef, mushroom risotto, aged hard cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, Korean BBQ, braised short ribs, shiitake hot pot.
Production Method
Hand-harvested; small-batch fermentation in stainless-steel vats; élevage ~18 months in French oak barrels (c.65% new); low yields and strict selection.

Tiny 2.7-hectare estate run by the Thienpont family; founded by Jacques Thienpont in the late 1970s. Extremely low production and internationally renowned for concentrated, collectible Pomerol bottlings.
