Tasting Note
Dense, mature Saint-Julien: blackcurrant and plum framed by tobacco, cedar, graphite and subtle truffle. Plush, velvety tannins, toasted oak spice and a long, mineral-tinged finish.

Food Pairing
Roast beef, ribeye, lamb, mushroom risotto, aged cheddar or Comté; Asian: Peking duck, Cantonese roast pork (char siu), Korean BBQ, beef rendang.

Production Method
Traditional Bordeaux vinification: fermented in vats, then matured ~18–20 months in French oak barrels (c.75–80% new) before blending and bottling.

Château Léoville-Poyferré, a Deuxième Cru (1855), owned by the Cuvelier family since 1920. Noted for gravelly Saint‑Julien terroir and long-lived, Cabernet-dominant wines.
