Tasting Note
Perfumed Vosne: peony and wild berry aromatics with orange rind, dark cherry, subtle espresso/roasted notes. Medium–full, supple and textural with velvety tannins, mineral lift and a long saline, fruity finish.
Food Pairing
Western: roast duck or duck confit, beef bourguignon, mushroom risotto, roasted lamb. Asian: Peking duck, char siu pork, grilled miso salmon, shiitake soba; dishes with earthy mushrooms or umami sauces.
Production Method
Mostly destemmed fruit with some whole-cluster inclusion in certain years; cool pre-fermentation maceration, fermentation in tanks, then élevage 12–18 months in French oak with a limited % of new wood; bottled largely unfined/unfiltered.
