Tasting Note
Concentrated cassis, blackberry and dark cherry with cedar, pencil-lead, tobacco and graphite notes; minty lift, powerful ripe tannins and saline minerality. Full-bodied with layered dark fruit and a long, precise finish.

Production Method
Traditional Bordeaux vinification: destemmed grapes fermented in vats, malolactic in vats and barrels; matured ~18 months in French oak (about 75% new).

Château Lynch-Bages, a 1855 Fifth Growth in Pauillac, has been owned by the Cazes family since 1939. ~90ha on gravelly hilltops producing classic Cabernet-led Bordeaux blends.
