Tasting Note
Deep black-fruit core of blackberry, plum and boysenberry with floral and smoked-meat notes, dark chocolate, black pepper and espresso; velvety yet powerful tannins and a long, spicy finish.

Western: grilled ribeye, roast lamb, game (venison), charcuterie, aged cheddar and gouda. Asian: Korean BBQ (bulgogi), Szechuan beef, Thai grilled beef, char siu, rich wagyu or yakiniku.

Production Method
Hand‑harvested, double-sorted fruit; cold soak and controlled fermentation, malolactic conversion, aged ~18 months in new French oak barrels; often bottled unfiltered.

Produced by Viña Montes from steep, gravelly slopes of the Apalta estate; Folly was created as a single‑varietal, ultra‑premium Syrah reflecting Aurelio Montes’ project to plant Syrah in Apalta.
