Tasting Note
Deep ruby. Concentrated blackcurrant, cherry and plum with cassis, graphite, sweet spice, tobacco and mocha. Silky polished tannins, full-bodied, vibrant acidity and a long, elegant finish.

Food Pairing
Western: grilled ribeye, roasted lamb, venison strogonoff, beef stews, aged hard cheeses. Asian: Korean BBQ (bulgogi/galbi), char siu, rich Szechuan beef, braised short ribs, Peking duck.

Production Method
Hand-harvested grapes from alluvial terraces; stainless-steel fermentation; aged ~18 months in French oak (≈70% new, 30% second-use). Conventional viticulture.

Viña Montes, founded 1987 by Aurelio Montes and partners. Muse is a limited-production tribute cuvée from Alto Maipo vineyards (~460m elevation).
