Tasting Note

Deep garnet; aromas of cassis, blackberry, graphite, licorice, tobacco and dried roses. Full-bodied, concentrated dark-fruit core, silky yet firm ripe tannins, mineral lift and toasted oak; exceptionally long, structured finish.


Food Pairing

Western: roast ribeye, côte de boeuf, rack of lamb, roasted/game birds, truffle dishes, aged hard cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, Korean BBQ (galbi), char siu, beef rendang, miso or soy‑glazed grilled beef.


Production Method

Fermented in traditional 225‑hL wooden vats with 15–25 day maceration; matured ~18–22 months in 100% new French oak barrels; bottled mid‑2017.
