Tasting Note
Opaque purple with aromas of black plum, blackberry, fig leaf, leather and herbs. Plush palate of boysenberry, blackberry preserve, brambly raspberry and anise, finishing with cacao nibs and ripe tannins.

Food Pairing
Grilled ribeye, braised short ribs, BBQ lamb, aged cheddar; Asian: Korean BBQ (bulgogi), char siu pork, spicy Szechuan beef, hoisin-glazed duck.

Production Method
Fermented and aged 13 months in French oak barrels (56% new). Limited-membership cuvée produced as a single-batch release.
