Tasting Note
Intense ruby-red; blackcurrant, blackberry, plum, graphite, black pepper, sage, tobacco and licorice; dense, full-bodied with polished tannins and a long, savory finish.

Food Pairing
Western: bistecca alla Fiorentina, grilled/roast beef, roast lamb, game, aged Pecorino and mushroom risotto. Asian: Korean BBQ, Cantonese roast duck, Sichuan-style beef, teriyaki beef, rich braised noodle dishes.

Production Method
Hand-harvested with double sorting; fermented in stainless steel and concrete (26–30°C) with ~15-day maceration; malolactic mainly in oak; aged ~18 months in French barriques (70% new), reassembled and returned to barrel, then 12 months in bottle.

Founded in 1981 by Marchese Lodovico Antinori in Bolgheri; now part of Marchesi de' Frescobaldi. Estate is renowned for Bordeaux-style Super Tuscan blends and flagship Ornellaia wine.
