Evolved black and red fruit (blackcurrant, plum), violets, tobacco, cedar, leather and forest-floor notes; silky texture, integrated oak and a long, refined finish with lingering savory spice.

Production Method

Hand-harvested, parcel vinification in temperature-controlled vats, malolactic fermentation, aged in French oak (barrels/foudres) then bottle-aged before release.

Founded by Charles Palmer in 1814, Château Palmer is a 1855 Third Growth in Margaux, owned by the Sichel and Mâhler-Besse families since 1938; famed for perfumed, supple wines.
