Tasting Note
Aromatic and focused: white florals, Meyer lemon, nectarine and baked apple with hints of pastry and toast. Energetic acidity, creamy mid-palate and a long, mineral-driven finish.

Food Pairing
Western: roasted chicken, butter-poached lobster, creamy pasta, soft cheeses (Vacherin, Brie). Asian: miso-glazed black cod, tempura prawns, sushi (fatty tuna), coconut curry with seafood.

Production Method
Whole-cluster pressed; barrel fermented with indigenous yeasts; spontaneous malolactic fermentation; aged on lees with biweekly bâtonnage in French oak (~15 months, ~50% new).

From Paul Hobbs’ small, sloping Ellen Lane Estate in the Green Valley sub‑appellation of the Russian River Valley. Estate bottling; ~350 cases produced in 2018.
