Tasting Note

Blackcurrant, blackberry and Morello cherry with violet, cedar, graphite and forest‑floor notes. Medium–full bodied, ripe plush tannins, bright acidity and a long mineral, savory finish.


Food Pairing

Western: grilled ribeye, roast lamb, venison, aged hard cheeses; Asian: Peking or roast duck, Korean BBQ, char siu, mushroom and soy‑based stir‑fries.


Production Method

Hand‑harvested, strict parcel selection (≈27% of harvest), traditional vinification and élevage in French oak barrels for about 18–20 months.

Pavillon Rouge is the long‑standing second wine of Château Margaux (name used since 1908). Produced from selected plots of the Margaux estate, it follows the château's meticulous viticulture and cellar practices.
